*** The Nissan Patrol was introduced in 1951 and still continues today in its sixth generation. Patrols were quickly recognised across the world as robust and reliable off-road 4x4s and have created a following for serious off-roaders and military use overseas. The second generation or the "Patrol 60" was introduced in 1960 and would run until the third generation in 1980. Nissan Australia claimed that the Patrol 60 was the first vehicle to cross the Simpson Desert, and as a tribute to the fifty-year anniversary re-enacted this with the new generation Patrol.
This 1973 G60 is a great find and would be ideal for hard-to-find spares. It has suffered from rust throughout, but still is visibly complete. This Patrol 60 also has a rear spare wheel carrier and a towbar. This is definitely a unique find and are becoming rare to come across. Inspection is highly recommended.
